Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Founding ML Engineer at Wald.ai. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Generative AI/ML Engineer to join our founding team. As a key contributor to our early-stage startup, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced generative AI models to protect our customers and making them compliant with regulations. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging AI to create proactive and dynamic privacy/security solutions for our enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience building and deploying ML models especially in NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with relevant frameworks/libraries like Pytorch and Tensorflow.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a startup environment.
• Be able to learn and thrive in ambiguity.

• Work closely with the product to understand business problems and formulate them into well-defined machine learning tasks.
• Design and implement LLMs for natural language understanding.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validate results with test datasets. Address issues related to bias, variance, and quality.
• Implement monitoring systems to track model performance in real-world scenarios.
• Maintain and update models as needed, considering changes in data distributions or business requirements.
• Balance researching new AI technologies with a practical approach to accomplish the research efforts into the Wald AI products.
