The Opportunity

Tetra Tech is adding an Office/Project Administrator to our Project Management team based in Vancouver, BC . This is a new position for which we are actively recruiting.

Your Role

Office Administration

  • Act as a central administrative resource for day-to-day office operations.
  • Coordinate office administrative functions including event coordination, catering, and common area upkeep .
  • Support office Health & Safety administration by maintaining safety records, tracking training requirements, coordinating documentation, and assisting with compliance activities.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support to leadership and office teams as required.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.

Project Administration

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and technical teams across multiple projects.
  • Prepare, edit, and format reports, presentations, spreadsheets, meeting materials, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate project documentation, filing systems, and document control in accordance with company standards.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate logistics, and prepare agendas and supporting materials.
  • Attend meetings and record accurate meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Support additional project administration support as required.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field an asset.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience in an office, project, or professional services environment an asset. New grads welcome to apply.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams or managers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and proactive with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 per year. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
