Position Summary
The Land Development/Site Design Project Manager will lead and support civil engineering design and project management activities for a variety of municipal, commercial, and private development projects. The position will focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs and align with Tetra Tech’s standards for safety, quality, and sustainability.

The position will focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs and align with Tetra Tech’s standards for safety, quality, and sustainability.
Essential Job Functions

- Lead civil engineering analysis, design, and management of land development and site design projects.
- Perform grading, hydraulic design, storm drainage, water and sewer system design, and erosion control analyses.
- Collaborate directly with clients, project design teams, and technical staff to deliver innovative and compliant solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to engineering standards and documentation requirements.
- Support construction activities including submittal and RFI review, and field coordination.
- Participate in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and project financial monitoring.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum Of 10 Years Of Related Experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Knowledge of AASHTO Greenbook, CDOT, and local municipal standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Experience with grading, drainage, hydrology/hydraulics, and street design.
- Experience managing municipal, commercial, or residential infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes.
- Experience designing roadways, bikeways, erosion control, water quality, and sewer systems.
- Ability to perform fieldwork in varying conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Ability to walk, stand, and perform light to moderate physical activity, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent use of engineering and field equipment.
- Combination of office and outdoor field settings with exposure to variable weather conditions.
- Moderate noise levels and occasional work on uneven terrain.
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid (Frisco, CO)
- Work Schedule: Standard business hours, with occasional field visits or travel as required.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel for project or client meetings.
- Compensation Range: $130,000 – $165,000, depending on experience.
