Position: We are looking for a Technician to assemble battery cells on Coreshell’s Pilot Line, operating manufacturing and testing equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Execute pilot line manufacturing processes including: electrode handling, stacking, tab welding, electrolyte filling, vacuum sealing, and formation preparation
- Follow and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain dry room protocols
- Adhere to quality standards and documentation requirements
- Maintain organized production records and traceability documentation
Required Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in a science related field
- 2+ years of experience in battery assembly, manufacturing, or lab operations preferred
- Ability to follow detailed manufacturing procedures and engineering instructions.
- Familiarity with chemistry lab safety protocols.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
- Ability to wear PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators if required
Location & Benefits: Location & Benefits: San Leandro, CA. Full-time. Hourly rate is $30-35 per hour with additional stock incentives dependent on experience. Dental, vision, healthcare and 401(k) benefits are included. Applications will be screened as received.
